Our Young Echidnas Adult Group is here!!!    Our Young Adults Group focuses on more grown up needs and issues facing college students. This group is made up of high school seniors and young adults through college age.

Young Echidnas Adults meets every othe Wednesday night at either our regular meeting location in Richardson, Texas or at a local destination selected by group participants.

A Social Skills Group for Young Adults (18 – 23)


With High Functioning Autism or Asperger’s Syndrome

 

Echidnas Young Adults is a non-profit, self-help organization for people ages 18 - 23 with High Functioning Autism or Asperger's Syndrome, dedicated to developing social and life skills.

Our group meets bi-weekly in the Dallas area and welcomes new members.

WHO ARE WE?
A group of young adults diagnosed with Asperger's or High Functioning Autism AND their parents.

FOR YOUNG ADULTS:
* An opportunity to focus on the development of social and life skills


* A forum to learn skills for succeeding in a socially-oriented world


* A place to foster self-esteem


* A place which encourages acceptance of self and others



FOR PARENTS:
An opportunity to discuss and learn about topics of mutual interest

MEETINGS:
* Young adults meet with a professional moderator to develop social skills and friendships


* Parents meet separately to support each other and as an educational forum


* Monthly dues are collected to pay cover group expenses

WHEN:
Every Other Wednesday 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
